Please know that Monday, January 25th grades will lock for progress reports. Please be aware that grades are inputted into our Skyward system and are available for you to view here.

Please keep up with your child’s grades so there are no surprises when progress reports OR report cards come home. J These will be sent home this Wednesday, January 27th. Please sign the gold envelope under CYCLE 4 PROGRESS REPORT and send back to your child’s teacher.

 

Tonight, Monday. January 25th, 2016 at 7:00 we have our 2nd grade performance! We hope everyone will come and support our second graders! We know they have worked very hard and will do an amazing job! Afterwards there will be a PTA meeting. J

 

Friday, January 29th is the last day for TALENT SHOW TRY OUTS! Please turn in your form ASAP to Mrs. Siburt. J GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

 

In curriculum news… This week we will be studying the following.

Math – Patterns & relationships in tables and beginning FRACTIONS

Reading – Sequencing, Problem solution, & synonyms/antonyms

Writing – Details in writing.

Science – Earth & Space

Social Studies – Challenger Disaster discussion

 
Here is another link to a GREAT resource that will be given about the upcoming STAAR test. This will be the first year your child will take the STAAR test, the more informed you are about it, the better your child will understand it! :)
