Monday, November 14th is our 3rd grade Veteran's Day Program...it is SUCH a special performance. We hope you can make it.  You will not be disappointed.

Tuesday, 15th is college day.  Your child may wear their college shirt with standardized dress bottoms.

The 17th is Fundraiser Pick Up Day from 2-5pm in the cafeteria.  A note went home yesterday explaining.

We are off 21st-25th for our Thanksgiving Break!  Woohoo!!
We’ve had a great week of celebrating Red Ribbon Week….the kiddos have looked adorable and hopefully will remember the message of saying NO to drugs.


Monday is Halloween!  The school rule is NO COSTUMES can be worn on Halloween.  Have a FUN time trick or treating!  Be safe!
We have a 4 day weekend coming up! yAy!  NO SCHOOL FRIDAY, 14th & NO SCHOOL MONDAY, 17th!  Enjoy the mini-break.

Parent- teacher conferences should have been scheduled by now.  If you have not scheduled yours please contact your child’s teacher and set up a day/time.


Drug Awareness Week is coming up!  Look for a red note to come home in the PIE folder.  It’s the week of the 24th and we will be talking about the seriousness and dangers of drugs/alcohol/tobacco.  Refer to the red note to see how your child can dress each day.
We’ve had a great 1st six weeks and have now started the 2nd six weeks.  I’m looking forward to this fresh start because I feel like the kids are now adjusted to how 3rd grade works and are ready to “work hard, play hard” J

October 4th is a Watch Dogs meeting at 7pm
October 6th is wear your favorite high school t shirt with standardized dress bottoms
October 7th is our 1st six weeks awards assembly.  Our assembly will start at 9am.

MAP testing will start next week.  Some third grade classes will test the week of 12th and some will test the week of the 19th.  Ask your teacher for your child's testing dates.  Attached are the notes that went home explaining the MAP tests.
